This body of work was born from refining and honing in on my artistic practice. I spent a good portion of 2023 researching outwardly and diving deeply inward to reconnect with my true, authentic voice. This is what is emerging. A resurgence of the female form amidst expressive backgrounds. AND I started incorporating oil paint, which has been a surprisingly delightful experience! I was not a fan previously, but have come to see the beauty of the materials. I hope to convey feelings and emotions through these works in order to connect with and spark a reaction that is moving to the viewer.
